Hex One
Once there was a Fool. We talk in Town Square.
Somebody asks, “You’re a fool but are you the village idiot?”
When the Fool is asked this question, the Fool says, “Let me tell you my theory: cartoon orgies — or what I like to call: my conceptualizations of urban geography via the existential proclamations — orgiastic cartoon characters — stereotypes maybe, if you want to think of them that way — sertraline — Arc types, perhaps — God already — etc.”
In Town Square, the Somebody talking to the Fool is the town Busybody. The town Busybody likes to wag his finger. He’s very intelligent but a bit annoying.
He says to the Fool, “What are you talking about? Are you saying that I’m somehow a cartoon character?”
The Fool replies, “I never said anything like that at all, but that is exactly what I’m saying. We all serve a purpose and our purpose can be defined by the kinds of people you would find in a cartoon about a small village. Furthermore, to fully comprehend this cartoon Village and how the characters relate to one another, we need to understand urban Civic Life as a kind of orgy, and we need to understand the behavior of particular individuals within that context. We have to understand their behavior as a series of kinks, and through the relations between individuals Comes This enactment of Kinks, but also parameters, Guided by safe words, parameters in and of boundaries. Edge play. Some people in the village are going to play along the edges more than others, like the village pervert for example, and The Village Idiot. Also, the village bank robber, the village pickpocket….”
